Attention viewers of the new CBS sci-fi series Extant, which stars Oscar winner Halle Berry as an astronaut who returns to Earth from a 13-month solo mission in space to learn that she is pregnant after years of being infertile and the conspiracy that seems to surround her coming home, is moving! Tonight! From 9/8c to 10/9c on CBS!! Make sure you reset those DVR’s and fix your schedules or else you will miss out.
‘Extant’ has seen a decline in its ratings over the last two weeks, earning a meager 6.5 million viewers during its third episode, which aired last week, and a 1.1 in the much-desired demo rating, which is a 30% drop from its July 9 debut.
This isn’t the first summertime timeslot change (say that three times fast!) for CBS as the network recently switched its Sunday night dramas ‘Unforgettable’ and ‘Reckless’ in the hopes of boosting both shows’ ratings. The ratings for the next few airings of ‘Extant’ will be important in terms of whether the series will have longevity.
A new episode of the debut season of ‘Extant’ will air tonight, July 30 on CBS in its new timeslot: 10/9c.
