Downton Abbey season five will premiere stateside Sunday, January 4th on PBS. According to TV Guide, the news was confirmed by PBS head of programming, Paula Kerger during PBS’ TCA Fall preview announcements earlier today. The news comes alongside the announcement of Call the Midwife‘s season four premiere date.
